This year (2017) marks the beginning of our 28th year in private practice. We’ve witnessed a LOT of changes over that time. Changes in tax laws, government regulations, the economy, technology, and most importantly, changes in what our clients want and need from us.
I started my own private practice, in part, out of a life-long desire to help people – in an age where personal service seems to be increasingly hard to find. Having previously worked for a number of large and small businesses, and having met many, many business owners over the years, I focused my desire to helping small business owners, in addition to individuals.
I soon learned that providing friendly and personal service, straight and honest advice, and reliable support – was exactly what many small business owners and individuals were searching for. To them I became more than just "the accountant” - I became a trusted advisor, and friend - an expanded role that I have never taken for granted.
Today’s small business owners require much more than a “numbers-cruncher“. They, of course, still need someone to prepare their tax returns and help them “balance the books”, but that’s only the "compliance-end” of running a business.
practical management guidance?

Our firm does a lot more — by assisting small business owners with the "management-related” as well as the “compliance-related” aspects of their businesses.
We provide a wide range of services and support to small businesses and individuals that include – and go beyond – traditional accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation.
